--AAAP Star Parties--In conjunction with the Amature Astronomy Association of Pittsburgh, Silaria and I invite local furs to join us at the public "Star Parties" held at Wagman Observatory near Dear Lakes Park in Frasier Twp, PA.Upcoming 2008 Star Party Dates16 FEB(WINTERFEST); 11 & 12 APR; 9 & 10 MAY; We may not be attending every one of these events so we recommend you e-mail the link below and place "AAAP Star Parties" in the subject line to let us know you're interested. A telescope is not required. All you need to bring is your fastination with the night skies. E-MAIL SWIFT(Remove the spaces.) Note: The Observatory site is dark and there is a lot of expensive telescopes and equipment set up. Fursuiting, boisterous activities and horse-play are discouraged. There will be no lodging available for these events. Car-pooling is recommended. Dress for conditions. |
--Monthly Fur Meets--Come join us on the second Thursday of each month, from 7-9PM, at the Panera Bread Cafe, 3401 Blvd of the Allies, Pgh, PA 15213, in the Oakland section of Pittsburgh for this opportunity to meet and talk with folks who share our interests. Once a quarter we take our furry frolics over to Games N-At on Pittsburgh's South Side. This is Pittsburgh's largest video arcade! For $8 you can play all night and they've told us they're ears, tail AND fursuit friendly!!
